Dante Michael Cox

Dante M. Cox, age 76, of Bradenton, FL (formerly Middletown, OH) passed away on December 18, 2021.

Dan was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 9, 1945 to George and Ruby Cox. He lived in Middletown for nearly 70 years before moving to Florida to be closer to his daughter and grandchildren.

He was a proud military veteran having served in the United States Navy from 1963-1967. Dan retired from the City of Middletown Public Works Department where he worked for more than 25 years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, camping, boating, and fishing.  When he was no longer able to travel, he enjoyed watching YouTube videos of the places he enjoyed traveling to.  Dan was a collector of all types of tools and enjoyed shopping for treasures to add to his many collections.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather ('Pepaw') and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Dante is survived by his wife of 47 years, Shirley; daughter Andrea (C.J. Snead); grandchildren Connor & Millie; sisters Judith Barker & Stephanie Combs; and many nieces and nephews.

Dante was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
