Diana Kiernan

December 24, 1975 — February 9, 2018

Diana Carter Kiernan was born December 24, 1975 in Nashville, TN. and was welcomed into heaven by the Almighty God and with a vast group of people that went before her.  She died on February 9, 2018. Diana left behind her husband, Matthew Kiernan, whom she was married to for fourteen years. She also leaves behind her parents Don and Janet Carter, her sister's family, Catherine, Douglas, Adara, Carter and Maxton Dierdorf, her brother Matthew Carter, all of Bradenton, FL. and her grandmother, aunts, uncles and a vast number of cousins.

Diana was an outgoing person throughout her life.  In high school, she went to state competition in weight lifting and was a professional model.  Diana loved serving people.  Serving always caused her to have a spring in her step and a smile on her face.  The love for people caused her to become an RN and ultimately a register nurse for Tidwell Hospice as well as a national ACC Palliative Care member.

Diana was a member of Journey Assembly of God and was active in children's ministry, the food pantry and anything to do with children and the elderly.  Unfortunately, she suffered for many years with a heart condition and yet she never complained and was always looking forward to future accomplishments.

The service will be Saturday February 17 at Journey Assembly of God 5017 37th Street East Bradenton, FL  34203 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to the church for Family Integrity Training and the Food Pantry.  Please make all checks out to the church with in memory of Diana on the check.

The family is being served by Shannon Funeral Home 1015 14th Street West, Bradenton, FL  34205.
