Grace Maxine Jenkins

Grace Maxine Jenkins, 74, Cortez, passed away Dec. 28, 2014. She was born July 17, 1940 in Waukegan, IL to the late Max and Grace Pollock.

Grace served her country faithfully by serving with the U.S. Air Force during the period between Korean Conflict and Vietnam War.

Grace moved to Cortez over 45 years ago coming from Ft. Walton Beach, FL. She worked locally for A.P. Bell as the bookkeeper for 15 years, and many other local companies over the years. She also served as Board member with the Florida Saltwater Heritage in Cortez.

She was predeceased by her husband Norman E. Jenkins, and a son, Norman 'Chip' Jenkins. Survived by her son, Kenny and his wife Anita of Cortez, three grandchildren; Maxine, Richard and Dalton, her faithful companion No Toes, and many extended family members and friends.
