Imogene Gore

Imogene Gore, 81, of Palmetto, passed away February 17, 2017.

She was born on January 8, 1936 in Pelham, Georgia to the late James Lamar and Eva (White) Sheppard. She moved to Manatee County over 60 years ago, and was of the Baptist Faith.

She was survived by her three loving children; Sandra (John) Dietrich of Bradenton, Eva (Frank) Stone of Jacksonville, FL, Rebecca (Emilio) Stella of Surfside, FL, James (Jean) Sheppard of Elberton, GA, sister, Laverne Cox of Adel, GA, seven grandchildren, eight great-granddaughters with a great-grandson on the way, and many extended family members and friends.

Private family graveside services will be held at the Palmetto City Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to TideWell Hospice in her memory.
