Barbara Ann Jones
November 4, 1938 — July 23, 2017
Barbara Ann Jones, of Myakka City, went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2017.
She was a devout Christian.
Barbara moved to Tampa Florida when she was 9 years old from New Jersey with her parents. While attending Hillsborough High School, she met her husband R. Larry Jones. They were happily married for 52 years and have 5 sons together.
Together Barbara and Larry started Jones & Sons Pest Control, a pest control business in Bradenton, along with LB RANCH, cattle ranch out in Myakka City.
She is survived by her 5 sons; Robert & Pam, Tom & Pam, Jerry & Velma, Mike & Rene, Chris & Marie, 9 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband; Remer 'Larry' Jones, 2 brothers; Ferdinand and Jay and 2 sisters; Jane and Doris.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Bethany Baptist Church
