Carol Ann (Bannon) Lomauro

Carol Ann Lomauro, age 91, of Bradenton, FL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18 2026. She showed true inner strength and resilience during a lengthy struggle with her declining health.

Carol was born in Passaic, NJ and was the only child of the late James and Esther (Kertin) Bannon. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Frank Carroum.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of over seventy years, Paul Lomauro. Carol’s highest priority and greatest love was her family. She was a dedicated mother to her children, Gary (Joyce) Lomauro, Christopher (Denise) Lomauro, Jill Carroum, Mark (Kathleen) Lomauro and proud Grammy of Anna (Matt) Huffaker, Elizabeth (Sean) Igo, Laura (Christopher) Kosiewska, Madeline Lomauro, Joseph Lomauro, and Grace Lomauro. Great Grammy of Kennedy Huffaker, Quinn Igo and Madison Huffaker. Carol was loved by many relatives and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, funeral service is private, and for immediate family only.

The family would like to thank all the workers at Freedom Village and Tidewell Hospice for their loving care and support to Carol and her family.
