Charles Hartman

Charles William Hartman, known to all as Chuck, born on May 3, 1942, in Providence, Rhode Island to Herbert and Rose Hartman, left this world for Heaven on May 16, 2025, shortly after celebrating his 83rd birthday. 

He was the beloved husband of both the late Ruth and Susan Hartman. Charles was a long-time resident of Florida where he owned and operated Hartman Wood Flooring for more than twenty years and was highly respected in his community.

Charles leaves his beloved sister, Frances Grange. He also leaves his nieces, Kristen Newell (Scott), Kimberly Sacchetti (Tommy), and his nephew, Anthony Ferri (Julie), who he lovingly called “My Boy.” In addition, he leaves his long-time dear and devoted friend who was like a brother, Mark Horton, as well as Patty Barrett, his caretaker and friend for the last six years.  Charles was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at 4:30 p.m., at Bethany Baptist Church, FL-64, Myakka City, Florida 34251.A time of refreshments and memory sharing for all immediately following.
