Douglas Scott Guerette passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on May 15, 1964, Douglas was cherished by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Douglas served his community as a City Building Inspector, a role to which he brought diligence, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to public safety. His contributions ensured that neighborhoods flourished and that the built environment remained safe for countless families. Douglas took pride in his work, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and those he served.

He will be dearly missed by his loving son, Zachary Scott Guerette, and his mother, Judyth Anne Guerette, both of whom shared in his joys and supported him through life’s challenges. Douglas is also remembered with by his brother, Robert Guerette(Lisa), which they shared a remarkable bond. He loved deerly his 2 fur kitten babies. 

Douglas was predeceased by his father, Robert Walker Guerette, whose memory remained a guiding influence, and by his sister, Lauren Guerette, with whom he shared a close and cherished bond.
