Edward Joseph Thomas, a loyal husband, loving father, successful business man and contributor to the Bradenton Community, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026. Born on July 10, 1953, Edward led a life of hard work and personal growth that started in Philadelphia, PA and ended in Manatee County, FL.
Edward was well known for enjoying music, playing the drums, golf, bowling, billiards, and generally open to playing touch football or baseball with family. He enjoyed all his time with his son, Edward Jr. Many treasured memories were made with friends and family listening to music and playing sports. Edward was very fortunate in that he did everything he ever wanted to do in his life. He met the love of his life, Elaine Esposito, in Philadelphia, PA. They were married, and they lived a wonderful life together. They eventually moved to their dream retirement location in Bradenton, Florida. There, they ran a business together, met life-long friends, went on memorable vacations, and truly enjoyed their lives together. Ed was a wonderful husband caring for Elaine in her final years. He missed her terribly when she passed last year. They are now reunited with each other.
