Helen Irene Shiver
December 27, 1927 — February 13, 2018
Helen Irene Shiver, of Mount Dora, formally of Bradenton Florida, passed away on February 13, 2018.
She is survived by her daughter; Katie (James) Barnes, son; Randall (Kathleen) Shiver, step-daughter; Janis Danforth, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Helen was predeceased by her husband; Randal Shiver, a brother; Joe Sanders and a sister; Patricia Sanders.
Born in Bradenton, Florida, to Joseph and Helen Sanders, Helen moved to Miami in the early 1950's, then to Englewood in the mid 1980's and back to her hometown of Bradenton in 1999.
She was an LPN for the late Dr. George Clark. She also worked as a substitute teacher and optical technician.
Helen was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Bradenton.
She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Manasota Memorial Park.
