John F. Munger, Jr.

John F. Munger, Jr., 93, Bradenton, passed away December 5, 2015.

He was born on May 13, 1922 in Pittsfield, MA to the late John F. Sr, and Hazel (Fish) Munger. He moved to Bradenton 23 years ago coming from Pittsfield.

He served with the U.S. Navy during WWII. While living in Pittsfield he worked for General Electric for over 15 years as a machinist, and was a member of the V.F.W.

Locally he was active in the club at Windmill Village Mobile Home Park, and Bradenton Moose Club.

John was predeceased by his two sons, Steven and Patrick, 2 brothers and two sisters. Survived by his loving wife, M. Prescilla of Bradenton, four sons; James (Carol) Munger of Pittsfield, MA, Michael Munger of Washington, MA, Ralph (Christine) Munger of Pittsfield, MA, Paul Munger of Battleground, WA, four daughters; Diane (Dwight) Adams of Ocala, FL, Elaine (Ed) Dunn of Bradenton, Ruth Shaughnessy of Moultonborough, NH, Sandra Munger of Pittsfield, MA, two brothers; Ray (Lois) Munger and Don Munger, Ruthie Durant all of Pittsfield, MA, 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and many extended family members and friends.

Private family services will be held at a later date in Pittsfield, MA.
