Joseph E. Staigerwald, a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on July 3, 2025, in Waverly, Tennessee. He was born on March 18, 1939, in Baltimore, Maryland, where he spent his early years before embarking on a life filled with hard work and dedication.

Joseph built a successful career as a plumber, pipefitter, and welder, demonstrating exceptional skill in his trade. His contributions were invaluable, and he took great pride in his work, always striving for excellence in every project he undertook. Additionally, he served honorably in the U.S. Army, a testament to his commitment to serving his country.

He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory. Joseph is survived by his wife, Eleanor "Polly" Staigerwald; his son, Robert (Yolanda) Staigerwald; his daughter, Tammy Huey; his brother, Charles "Buddy" (Laurella) Staigerwald; and his sister, Bernadette Mofield. He was also the proud grandfather of six grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 14 great-grandchildren.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Staigerwald, who instilled in him the values of hard work and integrity that guided him throughout his life.

A Graveside Service honoring Joseph's life will be held on July 17, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM at Palma Sola Cemetery in Bradenton, Florida. He will be laid to rest there with military honors.
