Juanita Zaldivar Healy

Juanita Zaldivar Healy, departed from this world on September 23, 2023, in Bradenton, Florida. Born on April 3, 1952, in the coastal town of Port Isabel, Texas, Juanita’s journey was one marked by kindness, warmth, and an enduring spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Juanita was a woman of gentle grace, celebrated for her kind and welcoming nature, a beacon of comfort and joy among family and friends alike. Throughout her life, she cherished deeply the moments spent with her loved ones—this was the centerpiece of her heart’s delight and the most enduring memory she leaves behind.

Her commitment extended beyond the familial circle; Juanita served her country with honor in the U.S. Air Force, embodying a spirit of dedication and courage that underscored her entire life. This chapter of her life added a distinguished layer to her legacy, one that combined patriotic service with personal warmth and resilience.

Juanita is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Healy "Bob", alongside her children and a wide circle of extended family members and cherished friends, all of whom continue to draw strength and inspiration from her memory. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Blasa and Claudio.

In remembrance and to honor her life, visitation will be held on October 16, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a memorial gathering from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Both events will take place at the Bayside Community Church - Bayshore Gardens Campus located at 5051 26th Street West, Bradenton, Florida.
