Katherine Elaine Higgins

Katherine Elaine Higgins, 31, Bradenton, passed away July 8, 2015.

She was born December 27, 1983 in Charleston, South Carolina to William W. and Yvonne (Smith) Higgins.  Katherine moved to Bradenton about 30 years ago coming from Marathon in the Florida Keys.

She is survived by her loving son, Gabriel Higgins of Bradenton, parents; William W. Higgins of South Carolina, Yvonne Higgins of Lake Placid, Florida, brother, Alexander Higgins of South Carolina, maternal grandmother, Ruth E. Smith of Lake Placid, Florida and many extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 A.M. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Shannon Funeral Home Westview Chapel, 5610 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton with a Celebration of Katherine’s  life to follow at 11:00 A.M. Interment will take place at the Palma Sola Cemetery in Bradenton.
