Lelia May Cipriano

Lelia May Cipriano, 88, of Bradenton, Florida, peacefully passed away on October 29, 2026.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who dedicated her life to her family. Born in Syracuse, New York, to the late Charles and Ann Eysaman, Lelia spent her early years building a warm, welcoming home for her family while working part-time as a secretary at American Monorail. Later in life she worked in Human Resources for the Sarasota Health Department, where she eventually retired.

Lelia loved her family above all else. Her happiest moments were spent gathered around a table playing cards and games, bowling, or quietly working through word search and crossword puzzles. She leaves behind a cherished family tradition of baking Christmas cookies, an annual joy she shared closely with her children and grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Elia A. Cipriano, as well as her brothers, Charles O. Eysaman and William G. Eysaman. Lelia’s love and legacy live on through her family. She is survived by Her children: Elia D. (Marissa) Cipriano, Thomas C. (Carmen) Cipriano, Tracie A. (James) Adams, and Michael J. (Genesis) Cipriano, Her sisters: Julienne Damico and Marian Starling. 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, with 2 more on the way and many nieces and nephews.
