Linda Jane Griffin

Linda Jane Griffin, 77, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away February 11, 2017 at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton.

Linda was born on February 6, 1940 in Colon, Panama to the late Joshua A. and Barbara June (Farthing) Cunningham. She moved to Bradenton two years ago coming here from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Linda was a homemaker and a catholic.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband John Joseph Griffin in December of 1998, a daughter, Barbara Ann Griffin in 2013, and a brother, Michael Cunningham. Linda is survived by her two loving sons; John Griffin and his wife Kari of Atlanta, Georgia, Joshua Timothy Griffin of Bradenton, one brother, Jay Cunningham of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, seven precious grandchildren, three darling great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Shannon Funeral Home Town Chapel, 1015 14th St. W., Bradenton with the Reverend J. Sterling Forrester officiating.
