Lois J. McFarren

Lois J. McFarren, age 66, of Moore Haven, Florida, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025 at her home. She was born on June 12, 1959, in Kankakee, Illinois the daughter of Carl and Darlene( Meents ) Donaldson. She graduated from Westview High School and spent a big part of her life in Illinois before moving to FL in 2006.

Lois is survived by her loving husband, Stephen McFarren, and her cherished son, Dustin (Danielle) Blaylock. She holds a special place in the hearts of her step-son, Matt (Annie ) McFarren, her sisters, Sharon (Terry) Stalnecker, Carlene (Dean) Jester, Mary Denoyer, and Tonya (Dave) Sargent, along with her brothers, Carl (Toni) Donaldson and Charles Donaldson. The joy of her life lay in her grandchildren—Nathan, Christopher, Reagan, Courtney, Layla, and Sawyer—whose laughter brightened her days and filled her heart with pride. Additionally, Lois leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Carl and Darlene Donaldson, and her sisters, Sandra Warner, Doris Donaldson and Donna Montague. Their legacies live on through the stories and love that Lois has shared with her family and friends.

Her passing represents not just the loss of a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother but also the departure of a resilient soul whose kindness touched everyone she met. Lois will be remembered for her unwavering affection, warmth and kindness in the lives she enriched.
