Marie A. Latorre

Marie A. Latorre, born on August 6, 1929 in the Bronx, New York, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, October 15, 2025, at the age of 96.

She was the youngest daughter of Tillie and Marcello Gesualdi. Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vincent, and her dear sisters, Fran Ehlers and Diane Daniels.

Marie is survived by her two loving daughters, Debra Piegari and her husband Kenneth, and Denise Stoltz and her husband David. She was a proud grandmother to three grandchildren; Kenny, Kristi, and David and a cherished great-grandmother to five beautiful great-grandchildren; Vincent, Olivia, Brooke, Payton, and Emma. She also leaves behind her loving grand pets, Mazi and Jada.

Marie found great joy in cooking, baking, and crafting, but her favorite pastime was coloring, especially when shared with her grandchildren. A devoted New York Yankees fan, she never missed watching a game on TV. 

A Memorial Service to celebrate Marie's life will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 11:30am at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, creativity, and the love she shared with her family.
