Michael DePietro passed away peacefully on June 10th after a courageous battle with illness. He was the beloved husband of Carol Dymsza DePietro for 23 years.
Michael is predeceased by his sister Donna DePietroMichael grew up in Winthrop, Massachusetts, and later lived in Chelsea after meeting the love of his life, Carol. The two eventually retired together in Sandown, New Hampshire, where they enjoyed their time as snowbirds in Florida.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Michael carried his service with honor throughout his life. He worked as a dedicated auto mechanic for over 55 years and was known for his skill, work ethic, and willingness to lend a helping hand. Above all, he cherished time spent with his wife and family.
He is lovingly survived by Cathy and Mike Piantigini, Kerry and Pete LeBlanc, and Kathy Ferraro. Michael was a devoted grandfather to his six grandchildren: Kayla, Leah, and Erika LeBlanc, and Brianna, David, and Kyra Ferraro. He is also survived by his nephew, Joe Barresi.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, followed by a celebration of life.
