Richard F. Haczynski

Richard F. Haczynski died on July 13th with his oldest son and his daughter-in-law by his side.

Richard, known throughout most of his life as "Dick," was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on July 11th, 1949. He was the son of Francis Haczynski and Philomena Serafin, and brother to Joan and John.

He was a graduate of Cumberland High School and served his country in the United States Army as a reservist.

Dick's first marriage was to Kathleen Ward, and they had three sons, Ryan, Brad and Greg. He later remarried to Kim Lareau and spent over 3 decades together before his untimely demise.

Richard spent his career in sales related fields, predominantly automotive aftermarket due to his love of cars, before transitioning to real estate during his retirement.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his sister Joan. He is survived by his former wives, Kathleen and Kim, his three boys, Ryan, Brad, and Greg, and all of his grandchildren, Paris, Rylie, Georgia, Tyler, Liam, Finn, Jayd, and Bryn.

"Mr. Dick" was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

At his family's request, a small Memorial Ceremony will be held at Shannon Funeral Home at 10 AM, Wednesday, July 16th, 2025.
