Steven George Everett graduated from this life on September 5, 2026 from complications of a stroke.
Born on the 4th of July, Steve was a true Yankee Doodle Dandy. He loved all things flags and fireworks and believed his whole life that those fireworks were for his birthday! He loved it when his friends would call and tell him that they ordered up a huge firework show just for him! Steve loved to laugh and joke, loved country music, loved his friends, but most of all he loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. He had 50 years with the love of his life, Kathy, and after she passed, found a bonus love and 5 extra years of love and laughter with LaDawn.
There will be a viewing on September 26, 2026 from 9:30 - 10:30 at the Lindquist Funeral Home 3408 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah. Followed by his grandson Collin Cardwell dedicating the grave at 11:00. Steve will be laid to rest next to Kathy in the Lindquist Memorial Gardens.
Steve did love a good party and lots of laughter, so we will have a “Graduation Party” for him following the dedication of the grave starting at 12:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 4955 Adams Avenue in Ogden, Utah. We are simply going to have a microphone and tell “Steve” stories, so please come prepared to share! And feel free to wear red, white and blue.
